Terms of use

Scope

These terms govern the use of HoloFoilX provided by ARTIO Mining GmbH, Gossau ZH. By creating an account you accept them.

Service

The service helps you catalogue trading cards and shows estimated card values derived from third-party price data. Values, trends, signals and grade estimates are informational, may be incomplete or wrong and are no offer, appraisal or investment advice. Grade estimates are not official grades of any grading company.

Accounts and plans

You are responsible for your credentials. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing page.

Acceptable use

No automated bulk extraction of data, no resale of market data, no circumvention of limits or security measures, no unlawful content in uploads.

Third-party data and trademarks

Card data and images belong to their respective owners and data providers. Their terms apply in addition to ours. Trademarks are used for identification only.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence and for decisions taken on the basis of estimates is excluded. [To be aligned with Swiss law and consumer protection in the EU.]

Governing law

Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction: Gossau ZH (registered office of ARTIO Mining GmbH), subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction.

Affiliate links

HoloFoilX contains links to eBay and to grading companies. Purchase contracts are concluded solely between you and the seller on eBay, grading orders between you and the grading company; their terms apply. HoloFoilX is not a party to these contracts, does not check the listings and is not liable for them.

eBay links labelled “Ad · affiliate link” are advertising: if you buy, HoloFoilX may receive a commission from eBay at no extra cost to you. The linked search results show sellers’ asking prices and are not a valuation by HoloFoilX. HoloFoilX is independent; neither eBay nor the grading companies have reviewed or endorsed HoloFoilX, and there is no partnership with them. [Draft, legal review pending]
